Do you have a research project that would benefit from open source software development? We have funds to match Syracuse researchers with Syracuse student software engineers for the development of research software that would benefit the broader Syracuse and research communities.
Researchers should submit a project proposal via the form below. We’ll then reach out as soon as possible with more information and to further discuss your proposed project.
Deadlines: We plan to recruit, interview, and assign students to projects in batches, once at the start of the Fall semester and once at the start of the Spring semester (provided there is interest). Proposals for Fall projects should be submitted no later than August 15, and proposals for Spring/Summer projects should be submitted no later than January 1.
Students who are interested in getting involved should check Handshake for current OSPO openings.
