- US Research Software Engineer Association (US-RSE): A community-driven effort focused on the increasingly important role of the Research Software Engineer.
- Research Software Alliance (ReSA): An organization devoted to advancing the research software ecosystem by collaborating with decision makers and key influencers. They also maintain a database of funding opportunities for research software.
Open Data Repositories
- New York Open Data Portal: Provides a powerful tool that provides centralized access to high-value New York State government data to search, explore, download, and share.
- City of Syracuse Open Data Portal: The City of Syracuse’s central location for open data, maps, and visualizations to help you understand what is happening in the city.
- US Census Data Portal: The U.S. Census Bureau’s main data search platform with data tables about People, Places, and the Economy; maps; and apps.
- Registry of Research Data Repositories (re3data): A global registry of research data repositories that covers data repositories from a wide array of academic disciplines.
- FAIRsharing: A curated, informative, and educational resource on data and metadata standards, inter-related to databases and data policies. Includes a registry of knowledgebases and repositories of data and other digital assets.
